- Order the whole year in one run: a crest does not change, and one print run beats three.
- Stick to one or two print colours; each extra colour is a separate pass and a separate cost.
- Ask for a barrel colour that contrasts with your logo, otherwise the print disappears at arm’s length.

How are plastic pens branded?
Screen printing or pad printing, both of which apply solid spot colours to a curved plastic barrel and cure hard. One or two colours is standard. Full-colour photographic artwork needs UV printing and is not usually economical at the quantities plastic pens are ordered in.
What is the minimum order for plastic pens?
Five pieces per design, the catalogue-wide minimum. Most institutional orders run far above that: 1,000 to 5,000 pieces is common for admission kits and annual student supplies.
