What do the three sectors need from a gift supplier?
The three buy different things for different reasons, and each has a different trap. A bank worries about the optics of a gift. A pharma company worries about a code. An IT company worries about logistics across offices. Procurement teams in all three ask for the same basics: a GST invoice, a written delivery date and a proof before production. GiftBulk is India’s leading corporate bulk gifting solutions company, and these are the standards we work to for every order.
| Sector | Typical occasions | Typical gifts | First thing to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banks and financial services | Account opening, branch anniversaries, festive gifting for key clients, staff awards | Diaries, metal pens, table clocks, desk sets, awards | The recipient gift policy and your own compliance rules |
| Pharma and healthcare | Distributor and stockist meets, conference kits, staff recognition, hospital events | Conference bags, notebooks, pens, bottles, awards | Your sector marketing code, before gifting to any healthcare professional |
| IT and technology | Joining kits, work anniversaries, annual days, client events, hackathons | Bottles, bags, desk accessories, notebooks, awards | Multi-city delivery and a joining-date deadline |
What should banks and financial firms give?
Banks and BFSI firms gift in volume and in public, so the item has to be useful and the logo modest. Diaries, metal pens and clocks suit a desk. Staff and branch teams are the easy audience. High-value customers are the sensitive one, because many banks and listed companies cap the value of gifts or ban them. Ask the recipient first, and keep a register of what you send.
| Use | Product | Price per unit |
|---|---|---|
| Branch walk-in giveaway | Premium Metal Pen MPI 3227 | Rs22 |
| Account-opening kit | Diary Notebook MPAP 010, with a metal pen | Rs84 plus Rs22 |
| Customer desk gift | Table Clock PC 0650 | Rs110 |
| Senior staff or client gift | Diary Notebook Planner MPAP 1051 (B5 binder with card and cash pockets) | Rs460 |
| Branch anniversary award | Acrylic Trophy MPI 3623 | Rs330 |
The premium metal pen is the volume item. The Table Clock, PC 0650 stays on a customer desk. For milestones, an acrylic trophy or other award and memento marks the occasion. For clients specifically, read our guide to corporate gifts for clients.
What should pharma and healthcare companies give?
Pharma gifting splits into audiences, and one of them is off limits without a rule check. Gifts to doctors and other healthcare professionals are tightly restricted by the sector marketing code, and we do not advise on it. Raise it with your compliance team before you plan any gift to that group. The audiences you can plan for with fewer constraints are your own staff, your distributors and stockists, and delegates at events you organise. Even there, follow your own policy.
| Audience | Product | Price per unit |
|---|---|---|
| Conference delegates | Canvas Bags SB-10001 | Rs38 |
| Conference delegates | Diary Notebook MPAP 010 | Rs84 |
| Distributors and stockists | Wall Clock, from 100 pieces | Rs118 to Rs548 |
| Staff awards | Plaque Trophy MPI 3701 | Rs350 |
| Employee wellness events | Gym Shaker MI 0006 | Rs100 |
For a distributor network, a wall clock on the stockist wall shows your brand for years; see our wall clock buying guide for prices at 100 pieces and above. Delegate bags and pens are covered in the promotional gifts by budget guide.
What should IT and technology companies give?
IT teams are young, distributed and used to good hardware, so a generic giveaway is quickly ignored. The best kits are small and useful: a bottle, a bag, a notebook, a stand for the phone or laptop. Joining kits matter most, because hiring is continuous and the kit must be at the new joiner’s home or desk before day one.
| Use | Product | Price per unit |
|---|---|---|
| Joining kit: bottle | SS Bottle MPJN 0015, 750 ml | Rs310 |
| Joining kit: desk | Metal Mobile Stand MPI 9001 | Rs120 |
| Joining kit: charger stand | Mobile Charger Stand 330 | Rs90 |
| Senior joiner bag | Executive Bag MP-7001 | Rs400 |
| Work anniversary | Premium Wooden Table Desktop MPT 0099 | Rs210 |
| Leadership gift | Gift Sets with Diary MPAP 113: power bank notebook, 16 GB pen drive, insulated bottle, metal pen | Rs4,175 |
See the SS Bottle, MPJN 0015, the Metal Mobile Stand, MPI 9001 and the Gift Sets with Diary, MPAP 113. Our employee joining kit ideas show four kit builds, and the bottles guide and bags guide cover two of the most used items. If your hires are in many cities, send the address list with the quantity for each location; we quote the freight for the split.

What do procurement teams in regulated sectors ask for?
- A GST invoice. Issued with every order. Enter your GSTIN at checkout so it is printed on the invoice. Our GSTIN is in the footer of every page.
- A purchase order route. Email the PO with the product specification and quantity to contact@shopgiftbulk.com. We confirm the order and raise the invoice against it.
- A written delivery date. Tell us the date and pincodes before you pay, and we confirm in writing whether it is achievable.
- A proof before production. You approve a digital proof in writing. Nothing is printed before that.
- A record. Keep the order, invoice, recipient list and approval together for audit.
For tax treatment of corporate gifts, including input credit, ask your chartered accountant, because it depends on the gift and the recipient. For how to compare suppliers on these points, see how to choose a corporate gifting company.
